Innovation and sustainability in extraction

Since 1993, we have embarked on an innovative path, starting an experimental phase in collaboration with the University of Turin - Department of Mining Engineering, with the support of a team of experts who continue to collaborate with us. This research led us to choose underground mining for our Ceppo di Gré quarry, a decision that represented a significant investment in design and extraction technologies.

The benefits of this choice are manifold: stone with superior technical characteristics compared to that extracted in open pits, reduced environmental and landscape impact, and better organization of extraction activities. This approach ensures harmonious coexistence with the tourist realities of the territory, preserving the natural heritage.

The contact point between Ceppo di Gré and Nuvolato di Gré

After years of work and research, we have reached the contact point between Ceppo di Gré and the Main Dolomite, commercially called Nuvolato di Gré. With significant reserves available in both deposits, and pending the necessary authorizations, we are ready to start production of this exclusive stone. This milestone represents not only a step forward for our company but also an opportunity to offer the market an extraordinary material with unparalleled technical and aesthetic quality.
