This interior design project involves a newly constructed private villa in Switzerland. The client requested interventions on finishes, lighting, and furnishings to complete a project initially handled by a local studio. Covering an area of approximately 950 m², the project included solutions for the ground floor (hall, living area, lounge, smoking room, indoor pool, spa, and gym) and the first floor (two master bedrooms with walk-in closets and bathrooms, as well as a guest room). Additionally, the stone cladding for the external walls was also designed.

Each intervention was conceived to integrate with the private art gallery located in the eastern part of the villa, featuring rooms with different claddings to house pop artworks by famous artists. Extensive use was made of precious materials, including marbles and exotic woods, creating interiors reminiscent of a precious jewelry box. Among the marbles, Ceppo di Gré stands out, left with open pores in some areas to emphasize its texture and honed in others for smooth surfaces. Notably, the gym, entirely clad in Ceppo di Gré, evokes a space carved into the rock.

In addition to Ceppo di Gré, other premium marbles such as Irish Connemara, Calacatta Gold, Giallo Siena, and Acquasanta were used, combined with luxurious woods like Makassar ebony, Amara, and Santos rosewood, each with distinct finishes. In the master bedrooms, identical in layout but different in materials, Santos rosewood and Giallo Siena were used in the first, and Amara ebony and Irish Connemara in the second.

Distinctive elements include a smoking room with an advanced private ventilation system, clad in Hydro-sculpted Ceppo and Makassar, and a double-sided fireplace facing the living area. Lastly, the indoor pool, clad in Nero Assoluto granite, is illuminated by Flos Uso Boob downlights, evoking the atmosphere of a cave with stalactites and stalagmites reflected in the water.
